Alchemilla alpina
Not your usual large plant but a tiny version of the Alchemilla. The flowers are green and give a sort of foamy appearance but the plant never grows very high and is ideal on a rockery. The edge of the leaves have a margin of white.
Sempervivens tectorum
Never understimate how many plants you can get from the one plant. I bought a small plant of this at a local nursery and when I got home I managed to split it carefully into all these plants quite easily!!
Lunaria annua
Even wild flowers can look attractive. This is a very good plant to give this dark purple colour so early in the season. Don't cut back the ripened flower heads as the flowers are followed by seed heads which, if rubbed between hands will turn into the familiar silver discs favoured by flower arranger.
